Drop The Ruse And Find Your Muse: Finding Your Passion In An Unfulfilled World

Everyday millions of people get up and drag themselves to an occupation that they have absolutely no passion for and which does not fulfill them in any way other than providing a paycheck and a social outlet. It literally is an emotional and spiritual death of sorts. Life is about passion. Passion for the ones you love, passion for your causes, and passion for your life’s work.

When what you are doing is devoid of any passion, in a sense you feel empty and trapped, and the spiritual and emotional price is too much to pay. It’s much like the mule hopelessly tied to the plow just trudging along hoping to get enough to eat so it can muster the strength to endure another day of a life without passion.

Admittedly, for human beings, traps are of our own making. It’s our own resourcefulness, or lack thereof, which will determine if we stay stuck to the plow or free ourselves so we can roam the range and find our own fields of passion, abundance, and variety. So, for those of us stuck to the plow and a life without passion, how do we even begin to plot our escape and follow our dreams of a life filled with passion?

First, we have to have a better vision for our lives, one that includes passion and abundance. You deserve to be doing what you are passionate about. Life was not meant to be lived doing something we find meaningless and for which we have no passion. Can you now open the window of that small room you’ve locked yourself in all these years? What do you see outside of that room? That’s your passion out there just waiting for you to claim it. Your passion wants to claim you. Have the courage to claim a life of passion.

When you have passion for what you are doing, life takes on a whole new meaning. Your “work” doesn’t seem like work at all. In fact, those who are doing what they have a passion for often state that they actually have that feeling of resentment when they have to temporarily leave their “work” and tend to the other businesses of life.

Ask yourself when are you happiest? What is it that you are doing when you are at your happiest? When you’ve answered that question, you’ve found your “muse”. A “muse” is defined as “a source of inspiration; a guiding genius”. By finding your muse and, therefore, your passion, you make the quantum leap from the walking dead to the truly living. It’s only when you are actively engaged in your passion that you are truly living.

If you are already employed, you have the luxury of indulging your muse and your passion and developing your skills while you simultaneously stay afloat financially. Your inspiration and passion will flourish best absent financial or imminent deadline pressures. Many successful people today nourished their passion in this way until they were in a position to devote all their resources to engaging their passion full time.

Enter Daymond John of FUBU. Like a lot of people, Mr. John initially saw FUBU as a hobby. There did come a day when he made a commitment to himself to get serious about his passion and establish a daily schedule. This was a critical point because when you have a vision, it’s still a dream but when you schedule it, it becomes REAL!

Mr. John’s daily schedule would include sewing hats himself, taking orders for the product, packaging them and shipping them out. Then he would go to his full time job at Red Lobster and, when he came home from that job, he’d make more hats and count the new incoming orders. He repeated this process daily for two years even though he had already successfully placed his product in some of the hottest music videos of the time.

Mr. John has always said that it was his passion for his project that pushed him through. Which brings us to a very important point. If you don’t have passion for what you are doing, how successful will you be? It is your passion that will ignite your energy, your creativity, and your ingenuity. Passion is what will drive you to excel at what you are doing. Passion is what will enable you to prove the naysayers wrong. Passion is what will leave you feeling fulfilled. Your passion is waiting. It’s time to drop the ruse and find your muse.

An unmistakeable principle of life is that it is always changing and morphing over time. How that life changes and morphs is entirely up to you. You have the ability to morph into something so incredible and awesome, but to claim it, you have to be able to see better possibilities for yourself. Develop that vision right now.

Blogging from the Heart

People who write with the feeling and opinions that make them unique is something that needs to happen more. When you are truly sincere in your blog writing, people will take notice, and appreciate it. Some ways to help make your blog express what’s inside:

Comment Sincerely: When you are commenting on other sites and blogs that are related to your niche, make certain that you are not just throwing your links up there, and writing dumb, overused phrases like “Nice Going.” Commenting on other people’s blogs is just as important as writing your own. You want to sound like you really do appreciate that person, and the information or advice they have given you. Make each and every comment you post sincere, and don’t overuse your links. If you comment just to advertise yourself, people will certainly be turned off.

Know When to Collaborate:When you collaborate with other bloggers, do so wisely. Make sure that your link exchange is going to benefit you both, and that they are not simply trying to get more links out there. If you want to join forces with another blogger, be sure to state your intent: the reasons you want to work together, and what it is you hope to accomplish from the joining. Always use the person’s name, and always make them feel special. Playing nice can get you everywhere.

Don’t Overdue It: Although marketing yourself is an important part of your blog, people who visit are there to learn something new, not to be bombarded with hidden links and advertisements. It looks unprofessional, and is a great way to make visitors remember to blacklist you. A simple link is all you need. Keep the content on your site updated regularly, and be sure the content is relevant and helpful.

Write Well:People who take time out of their busy lives to read your blog, deserve to have new information available to them. Keeping your blog updated shows your visitors that you care about them, and want to share your vast knowledge. You don’t have to write volumes, just make your readers feel like you haven’t forgotten them.

Passion Shows: When you are truly passionate and care deeply on the subject you are writing about, then people will sit up and take notice. It is impossible not to. It is the sort of writing that grabs you and holds you there for the entire ride. It is not something that can be faked. People can see through an insincere attempt at passion not matter how good you think you are.

Having a great blog requires consideration when commenting, updated relevant blog posts, smart collaboration, and a passion for what you write about. When you can incorporate these important elements into your blog posts, then you can gain a sincere and loyal following.

Making Time To Blog

When most people are asked about what they wish they had more of, they would say, “I wish I had more time to do the things I need to.” While time management can benefit people in many ways, tips to help in the management of your valuable blog posting:

Have Your Posts Preplanned: By planning ahead for your blog posts, you will not have to rush around trying to come up with topics. When you have some extra time, plan your blogs for the week. All you have to do then is publish them at the right intervals. This will save you time as well as stress, when you have the blogs you want all ready to go. When you have extra time, you can write out your first drafts, then go back later and revise if necessary.

Have Your Blogs Scheduled: Using WordPress, you can write and publish blogs for several days, and have them posted on the days that you choose. This frees up lots of time for you, since you will not have to write, post, and publish each individual blog. You can use some of your extra time for networking, marketing, sleeping, or living your life. Scheduling posts also helps when you have to be away from a computer for a period of time when your blogs need to be posted. You will not have to run around crazily, stressing because you can’t publish your blog.

Apologize: If you find that you absolutely cannot post on a day that you usually do, explain to your followers why, and apologize to them. They will not hold it against you. If it becomes a habit, however, they may begin to lose faith in you, and seek their knowledge elsewhere. People know that things happen; after all, you have a life just like they do.

Commenting: To free up some time, choose a certain time of the week to do all of your blog commenting. Being able to post comments on blogs that are relevant to yours at the same time, can free up time spent worrying about the ones you haven’t gotten to yet. You would be surprised at how much time can be saved doing things in blocks of time, rather than sporadically.

Getting your time management skills honed to perfection takes time, but can make your life less stressful and more productive. By scheduling your blog posts ahead of time, as well as all things related to your blog, you can have more time to do all of the other things in life.

Use Everyday Happenings in Your Blog

People often have a perplexing idea of what to write about on their blog. They spend countless hours trying to come up with some newfangled idea that they are sure will catch people’s attention. Really, all you need to do is write down things that happen in your life, and what you have learned from them. People find things like this engrossing, and there is no research required.

There are distractions in our lives all the time. Even the most well planned to-do list can go awry at the last moment. While you can’t plan for everything, you can make the most of it. Take what you learn from everyday occurrences, and use them to enlighten and entertain your blog followers.

Whether you realize it or not, something new is gained from every experience that you have. You may not think it through at the time, but these occurrences can be used to write exciting and compelling blog posts. What you may think people will find boring, very often is what makes the most popular blogs.

Start by making a list everyday of things that have happened, and what you have learned that day. After a few days, gather your list together, and look for connections that can be used to write your blog. You will be pleasantly surprised to see how many things are related in some way to what you are writing. You can then liven up your blog posts with down to earth true stories.

Some of the everyday happenings will be funny, some not, but surely some insight will be gained. People that follow your blog generally love to hear insights, especially from people who they admire. You can take these things and weave them into the fabric of your blog. You have the ability through life, to make your blog completely unique. No one has your life, and no one person has the exact same experiences. The people who read your blog will be able to relate to your experiences however, and this is the greatest way to form new connections, and strengthen older ones.

By utilizing time that you may feel is wasted due to unplanned activities that have to be handled, by writing them down, and understanding what you have gained from them, you can have the perfect material to write your next blog post. What seemed like wasted time, will then be time well spent. Everyday experiences can transform your writing into magic, and make ideas pop into your head that you would have never thought of without them.

Tips for Lessening Distractions While Writing

Even the most proficient blog writers can run into the dreaded blank page, or blinking cursor. There are some ways that can increase your focus, and help get you back on track:

Ringing Phones: Many times when you are writing that next great blog post, you get into a sort of rhythm that you don’t want to break. A ringing phone can totally screw up the works, and make you forget what you were about to write. If it is possible, turn the phone ringer off, and let the voicemail or answering machine get it. Helping to avoid distraction, can keep you more focused on the task at hand.

Don’t Read Email While Writing: Although this is probably extremely hard for many people, do not read email while writing. It will still be there when you are finished, and it will not distract you from the writing process. If you have an automatic notifier that pops up on your screen when new email arrives, shut it off. This will allow you to keep your focus where it needs to be: on writing.

    Use Writing Time for Writing:
When you are writing, a million things have the potential to distract you from your work. This means that each time you are taken away from your writing, you are wasting time that is for writing. Being able to focus on what you are doing, and not get pulled in a hundred different directions, can make your writing better and easier. You will not have to sit and try to remember what you were about to say next in your blog.

Surf Later, Write Now: How many times have you been writing a blog, surfing the web, and talking on the phone at the same time? Writing takes your attention, and no one can do it to the best of their ability when they are doing other things at the same time. You can always surf the web. When it is time for writing, write. Staying on task will make it much easier and faster to get those articles written. If you have to, shut down your networking until you have finished writing. This will take one less distraction off your mind.

Staying focus amidst a flurry of distractions is a difficult task indeed. When we are able to lessen these distractions, and use our time we have for writing, actually writing, then the job of writing becomes more efficient and easier to do.

    How to Present Yourself

All people are different! Someone could easily present themselves from the bright side, some even have no idea how to do it …

Here comes the guy, outwardly unremarkable, but when he will speak – so simply and easily with him, do not have to rack brains in search of topics for communication. And another guy – a prominent, well-built, but on the face – except a stupid smile, coupled with horror in his eyes, nothing visible…

And it is clear that the silence is painful for him, and seemed he want to say something, but can not. Do not know how to present themselves. Perhaps it is with emotion. Maybe something or someone makes an impression on the person, or, for example, he fears not justify someone else’s expectations. Fears of this kind are normal. Excitement in an unfamiliar situation with new people – it’s adequate behavior to some extent lets you keep in tune body and mind, desire to please may encourage the commission of good deeds. That’s good.

Many people, already lined up some stable relationships, later with nostalgia, with a kind smile on face remember these periods of their life, when the adrenaline drove the blood and heart jump out of chest.

But fear of communication makes people closed in themselves, prevent them live, be opened, trusted, make new friends and build relationships. And then, whatever it was, to present themselves properly, he would still not equal. Such fears need to learn to overcome in themselves, working on them and eliminating the causes.

The most common kinds of fears are: fear of rejection, fear to be “black sheep”, fear to trust and get burned, fear of disappointment …

Initially, you need to understand what prevents you to do what you want, what keeps live to feel comfortable in this world. And begin to act. Gradually open up, to present yourself to people so, what is, not fear that you will be condemned.

Realize that by doing nothing, avoiding contact with people, you will accomplish nothing. The best way to get rid of fear – to look into his eyes. Learn how to present themselves to the your own personal experience, albeit sometimes it will be on your own mistakes. Nobody promises that all will go smoothly.

Not to raise an assessment to your companion, while underestimating own. If you start to blush, tremble before the girl, or think that she will send you, it means so be it (unfortunately this is an unfortunate truth).

The first and most important rule to building relationships with people – enjoy yourself! Indeed, it is the only way you can develop self-confidence, and easily able to present yourself at a decent level. Love yourself with unwashed hair, with a broken thumb and with a bruise under your right eye!

Second, and very important – the inner spirit. How much different is person when his face spiritualized positive attitude. This alone already makes a person “light” and the person may present itself in silence, without words. How much really depends on how much a person is capable of a positive attitude, understanding of himself, “I’m cool, I’m a superstar, I already love and even fall in love!” Coming into the world, such a person puts on themselves the image of a successful , confident and positive “I can,I will, I’m in great shape!”

And how often you looked at yourself in the morning in the mirror with the disappointment. And the older you get – the more you think about it, the more the traces of violent or sleepless nights already stronger imprinted on your face. And in general themselves years compacted into all sorts of wrinkles, furrows and wrinkles, etc.

And how amazing is when at the time of the winged spirit, people do not notice that you are so upset about your appearance, because acts just your inner power!

And in those moments are unimportant the nuances of your appearance, bеcаusе in the eye catches not a pimple on the skin, but the overall impression of You! Your personality, the charm of your internal energy – does the same impossible leap from the usual gray or even unattractive man to the bright magnetic image, similar to what was going on with the pop star, the kings and queens of the stage!

Do not wait for “later” work on oneself. Believe in yourself, enjoy the reality and pleasant communication!
